Reconstructing new image from original pencil drawing and hi-res texture scans from my original paintings

Proofing final image

This past few months has seen me experimenting with the digital process.
Using close up hi-res scans from my paintings I have been creating new pieces of work on my iMac combining the textures from those scans with new drawings creating a range of new work relating to nature.
My new work draws on my past experience as both a graphic designer and an artist and only by chance did this process come about when looking at the detail of a recently photographed painting. What if?
My new work does use any form of AI. It is all painstakingly knitted together from my drawings and scans but with the added bonus of being able to adjust and play with vibrant colours.
Once a piece has been completed and proofed it is printed as a limited edition of 1 of 1 – Giclee print onto 315gsm archival canvas, using the best longevity inks. The final piece is then varnished. The printed image size of 24 x 24 ins – (60.96 x 60.96 cm) will have an added 2 inch plain border all around the image (final canvas size 28″x 28″ (71.00×71.00cm) so that it can be wrapped and framed without any loss of image.
